A copy of your order form will be sent to the email address you specify in the check-out process. This way, you will know that your order was received. Absolutely! We can attach a personalized note to your gift. Just specify that you would like a note in the comments while placing your order, as well as what the note should say, and we will make sure that the note is received.
We aim to deliver gift baskets as close as possible to the desired delivery date. However, in certain unlikely cases, this may not be possible for reasons beyond our control. Should such an event occur, we will contact you to arrange another date for delivery.
Yes, however... As the law requires, you and your intended gift recipient should be at least 21 years of age. A signature of a person who is at least 21 years old will be requested upon delivery of gifts containing alcohol, otherwise delivery will be reattempted. There are 44 states, to which we ship gifts containing wine or beer via USPS. They are: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, NY, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY. If your recipient is in a state other than those listed above, we will arrange delivery within that state in compliance with local regulations with our local distributor. It’s possible that some of the items from your selected basket may not be available locally. In such a, case we will replace said items with items of equal or greater value.
Well, that’s our job… but there are indeed a few things you could do to help us with the process:
First of all, please make sure to provide the correct shipping address and a phone number of the recipient at which they can be reached. If there is no phone number, we cannot really guarantee delivery on the desired date.
Make your recipient is aware they are expecting a package. When notified, they can communicate with our customer service representatives about the gift delivery and make sure to receive it.
Get in touch with the recipient once the gift is delivered to reception (you will be notified by email).
Sure! Delivery to US APO and FPO destinations takes 7 business days if you choose free shipping, and is possible through the whole work week. If you would like to pay extra for a faster delivery or a Saturday delivery, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that a package going to an APO/FPO address is being sent out via US Mail. Once this package is in the hands of the government we have limited access to details in regards as to where it is.
However, there are certain limitations that apply to military addresses:
No alcohol is allowed (this is the saddest part).
Perishable food items and fresh flowers cannot be shipped to AE, AA and AP.
Since there’s no way to track or guarantee the delivery date when shipping to FPO and APO, we are not able to compensate you in cases of loss, late delivery or damage.
In case you order a basket that cannot be shipped to FPO or APO address, we will notify you and suggest replacement alternatives.
If you would like to surprise your recipient with a gift and don’t want us to contact him in advance, you may write this in the comments field. When your order is processed, we will make sure to keep the contents of the gift and your name a secret.
Please note that if the intended recipient is not at home and we make multiple attempts to deliver the gift, the freshness of many perishable items (such as flowers) is not guaranteed. We may also subtract extra delivery costs.
Though this happens very rarely, the case may be that not all of your gift basket items are available at our local vendor due to slight differences in inventory. When this happens, in order to ensure quick and timely delivery to your gift recipient, we can do some minor substitutions. Rest assured that we always replace the missing items with similar ones of equal or greater value. We will always do our best to keep you informed of any necessary changes.
An event like this hardly ever happens! We do our very best to get the gift to your recipient, so such situations are REALLY rare.
However, if your gift was indeed not delivered, these are some of the events that could have occurred:
The gift was delivered to reception, but for some reason your recipient could not receive it. In order to avoid such situations we really need their working phone number, because when we are forced to leave the gift at the reception it may be difficult or even impossible for us to verify that the correct person gets it. The fact is, after we have delivered the gift to reception, we are no longer responsible for it.
We couldn’t deliver the gift because of an incomplete or incorrect address or because the recipient refused delivery. If that is the case, we will need to keep a certain amount of the money paid for your order to cover our costs, such as the cost of the courier, communication and materials. If we can reuse the gift basket, we will keep $40 or 40% of your total order, depending on which amount is greater. If the gift basket cannot be reused (due to perishable goods, etc.), we will keep the entire amount.
The gift was shipped to a military address and got lost. Shipping to FPOs and APOs means we have no ability to track a package, which is why we do not guarantee safe and timely delivery for these addresses. Sending a gift to an FPO or APO address is at the risk of the customer.
If it was none of the above - just our fault – we will reimburse the cost your order in full.
Moreover, if you suspect that there is a problem with your gift delivery – please send us a note to email@example.com. We will get back to you promptly and do our best to solve the issue.
It is possible only if your order hasn’t yet been processed for shipping and it does not include custom items that we have already requested from our distributor. So, if you have made any mistakes or changed your mind – please make sure to send a note ASAP to firstname.lastname@example.org
